Why does timing vary?
Even though Reshop processes all refunds instantly, the time it takes for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer's processing speed. Reshop sends your funds right away, but financial institutions have their own timelines for posting transactions.
Factors that can affect timing:
- Your bank or card issuer's processing schedule
- Weekends and bank holidays
- The type of account or card you're using
- Your financial institution's internal policies
What if my refund is taking longer than expected?
If your refund hasn't appeared within the expected timeframe:
- Check your account or card statement carefully - Refunds may appear with different descriptions than the original purchase
- Account for business days - Weekends and holidays don't count as business days
- Contact your bank or card issuer - They can confirm if a refund has been received and when it will post to your account
- Reach out to us - If it's been longer than the expected timeframe and your bank hasn't received the refund, contact our support team
Does this include shipping time?
No. These timelines are for when you'll receive your refund, not when you need to ship your items. After receiving your Reshop refund, you'll have 7 days to ship your items back to the retailer.
