Your refund is instantly issued, powered by Reshop, so you can get your money back sooner instead of waiting for traditional refund timelines. In certain circumstances, the refund amount issued to you through Reshop may need to be reversed in whole or in part.
Common reasons your refund amount may be reversed
Not shipping items on time: If you don't ship your items within 7 days, the refund amount issued through Reshop may be reversed for the full amount. Additional unreturned item charges may also apply.
Partial returns: If you received a refund for multiple items but only returned some of them, the retailer will make an adjustment and Reshop will process a reversal for the value of the items not returned. For example, if you received a refund for two items of equal value but returned only one, you'll be charged a reversal for half of your refund.
Returns that don't meet the retailer's policy: If your returned items don't comply with the retailer's return policy (for example, they're damaged, worn, or missing tags), the refund amount issued through Reshop may be partially or fully reversed..
Voluntary cancellation: If you choose to cancel your refund issued through Reshop, the refund amount will be charged to your backup payment method.
How refund reversals are calculated
Any refund reversals are charged to the backup payment method you provided when requesting your refund. This is the debit card or credit card you provided when you requested your Reshop refund.
Your original refund issued to your original payment method will remain unchanged. Reshop processes any applicable reversal separately by charging your backup payment method.
If you were charged a Reshop Fee on your refund to your original payment method: your repurchase charge is based on the full original refund amount, not the net amount you received after the fee was deducted.
What if I ship my items late?
If your refund was issues to your original payment method: If you don't ship within 7 days but do complete your return later, Reshop will automatically refund the reversal charge to your backup payment method once we confirm the return was completed.
