When you start a return with Reshop, we ask for a debit card, credit card or bank account as your payment method on file. Because you get your refund or new order before the retailer receives your items, this payment method backs your return.
When is my payment method charged?
Nothing is charged as long as your items are sent back on time, apart from any difference you choose to pay for a more expensive new order. We may charge your payment method on file if:
- Your return isn't dropped off by your due date
- You cancel your return and keep your items
- The retailer rejects or adjusts your return
See Why am I being charged for my return?
Are my payment details safe?
Yes. Your card or bank details are collected and stored securely by PCI-compliant payment providers. Reshop never shares your card or bank details with the retailer.
Changing your payment method, or having trouble adding it
To update your payment method, or if your bank asks you to verify it or declines it, see How do I update my payment method on file?
