Yes! You can use Reshop for returns on purchases made with Buy Now, Pay Later services.
Reshop works with purchases made through BNPL providers like Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, and other similar services. You can get a fast refund with Reshop just like any other purchase.
How refunds work with BNPL
If you choose to receive your refund to your original payment method:
When you select this option, your refund is processed back through your BNPL provider automatically—just like a standard refund from the retailer.
What happens to your BNPL account:
- Your installment plan will be updated, reduced, or closed out according to your BNPL provider's terms
- If you've already made payments, those may be refunded to you depending on your provider's policies
- If you have remaining payments scheduled, they may be reduced or cancelled
What you'll see in the Reshop app: Your refund will be displayed as "Refunded to your Original Payment Method" to keep things simple. The specific details of how your BNPL account is adjusted are handled directly between the retailer and your BNPL provider.
Timing: The refund is processed instantly through the retailer, and your BNPL account will typically be updated within 3-5 business days, depending on your provider.
If you choose a different refund method:
You can also choose to receive your Reshop refund via:
- Reshop Card (instant)
- Your debit or credit card
- Your bank account
Important: If you choose one of these options instead of refunding to your original payment method, you'll still be responsible for your remaining BNPL payments with your provider. Those payments will continue as scheduled until the retailer processes the return and your BNPL provider adjusts your account.
With Reshop, you'll get your funds instantly, which you can use to pay off your BNPL balance if you choose.
Do I need to add a backup payment method?
Yes. Regardless of which refund method you choose, you'll need to provide a backup debit or credit card when getting a Reshop refund. This protects both you and the retailer by ensuring your return is completed as expected.

Frequently asked questions
Will my BNPL payments stop immediately? Not always. While Reshop processes your refund instantly, it may take a few business days for your BNPL provider to update your account and adjust your payment schedule. You may need to make scheduled payments in the meantime.
What if I've already paid off my BNPL loan? If you've completed all payments, the refund will typically go to the card you used to make those payments, according to your BNPL provider's policies.
Can I contact my BNPL provider about the refund? Yes. If you have questions about how the refund affects your specific BNPL account, contact your provider directly. They can give you the most accurate information about your payment schedule and account status.
What if I don't ship my items? Just like any Reshop refund, if you don't ship your items within 7 days, your backup payment method will be charged to reverse the refund. Your BNPL payment obligations will continue as originally scheduled.
