Your payment method on file is the card linked to your Reshop account. We use it for:
- Any difference you choose to pay for a more expensive new order on an instant exchange
- Return value charges, and any unreturned item charge, if your items aren't sent back on time
- Charges if the retailer rejects or adjusts your return, or if you cancel your return
This is separate from where your refund goes. You choose your refund method (original payment method, debit or credit card, or bank account) when you start your return.
Update your card in the Reshop app
- Open the Reshop app.
- Go to your profile page.
- Select Banking Details.
- Choose Edit Card Details.
- Scan your card or enter the new card details manually, then select Done.
Update your card on the web
Go to web.reshop.com/payment-method/details and enter your new card details.
If you have a payment due when you update your card, we'll try the charge again automatically on your new card. See I have a payment due, how can I make a payment?
Having trouble adding your card?
- Check your card details. Make sure the card number, expiry date and CVV are correct.
- Check the expiry date. Your card can't expire in the next 60 days. If it does, use a different card.
- Your bank declined the card or asked you to verify? Complete any verification your bank asks for, or try a different card. If it still doesn't work, contact your bank.
