What is Happy Returns?
Happy Returns lets you drop off your return at a nearby retail location instead of shipping it back. It's fast, easy, and box-free, just bring your item to any Happy Returns bar and you'll get your instant refund.
How It Works
Step 1: Select Happy Returns
When you start your return, select "Happy Returns" at the return method screen, then choose "Instant Refund" as your refund method.
Step 2: Get Your Drop-Off Details
You'll receive a confirmation email from us. The retailer will also email you a QR code and a list of nearby Happy Returns locations, you'll need these for your drop-off.
Step 3: Drop Off Your Item
You have 7 days from when you started your return to drop off your item at any Happy Returns location. Just show the QR code to an associate and hand over your item. No shipping label or box needed!
Step 4: Refund Complete
Once your item is received and processed, your refund will be finalized and you'll see the status update in your account.
Important Details
- 7-Day Deadline: You must drop off your return within 7 days of starting it. If you miss this window, the instant refund will be canceled.
- Any Happy Returns Location Works: You can drop off at any Happy Returns bar, it doesn't have to be the closest one listed.

Common Questions
I can't find my QR code or the list of locations.
Check your confirmation email from the retailer, the QR code and nearby locations should be there. You can also find all locations at https://locations.happyreturns.com/
Can I switch to shipping instead?
It depends on the refund method you chose.
If your refund was sent back to your original form of payment (OFP), your return method can’t be changed and you’ll need to continue with the current option.
If your refund was sent to a Reshop Card, bank account, or your own card, you can cancel this return and start a new one with the retailer to switch to shipping. Canceling will temporarily reverse your refund, and once you restart your return, you can select shipping as your new return method.
I dropped off my item but my status hasn't updated.
We rely on Happy Returns to notify us when items are dropped off. If your status hasn't updated after 24-48, please contact us with details like your drop-off receipt or the time/location where you dropped it off. We can investigate further.
Can I use my order number instead of the QR code?
Yes. You can show the QR code on your phone, print it out, or just give the associate your order number. Having your order number handy is a good backup.
