When you start a return with Reshop, you agree under our Terms of Service to ship or drop off your items by your due date. If your return isn't shipped or dropped off on time, we may charge your payment method on file for:
- The return value charge: the value of your return. For a refund, that's the refund you received. For an instant exchange, it's the credit from your return that was applied to your new order.
- The unreturned item charge: 10% of the return value, up to a maximum of $10. This helps cover the extra costs when a return isn't completed as agreed.
This applies whether you chose a refund or an instant exchange.

When the unreturned item charge doesn't apply
- You ship or drop off your return by your due date, or by your extended due date.
- You cancel your return and keep your items. You may be charged the return value only.
- The retailer rejects or adjusts your return. You may be charged the return value, or part of it, only.
How it's applied
The charge is applied automatically, based on carrier tracking. If you shipped or dropped off your return on time but the tracking hasn't updated, contact our support team. Tracking can take 24 to 48 hours to update.
Shipped your return after the due date?
You can still send your items, using the shipping label or QR code you were already given.
Refund to your original payment method: once we confirm your return, we reverse the return value charge and the unreturned item charge.
Instant exchange: once your return is scanned by the carrier, we reverse the charges. It may take 5 to 10 business days to process.
Refund to a debit card, credit card or bank account: this depends on the retailer. For some retailers, we reverse the charges once we confirm your return. For others, the charges stay in place and the retailer processes your return under its standard return policy. If you're not sure which applies, contact our support team.
