The Reshop Visa® Prepaid Card & Reshop Visa® General Purpose Prepaid Card is being discontinued on October 29, 2026.
You can continue to use your Reshop Card until October 29, 2026. After this date, your card will no longer work for purchases or other spending.
What should I do with my balance?
Before October 29, we recommend either:
- Use your remaining balance with your Reshop Card, or
- Transfer your balance to your bank account through the Reshop app.
To transfer your balance:
- Open the Reshop app.
- Go to the Card tab.
- Tap Transfer.
- Enter the amount you'd like to transfer.
- Link your bank account if prompted.
- Confirm and submit the transfer.
What happens if I still have money on my card after October 29?
If you have a remaining balance of $1.00 or greater after the card is closed, we'll send you a check for the remaining funds to the address on file.
Checks will be sent within 60 days of the card closure.
If your address has changed, please contact our Customer Service team so we can help update your information.
What if my balance is less than $1.00?
If your remaining balance is less than $1.00 and you'd like to receive a check, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
Otherwise, the remaining funds will be handled in accordance with applicable unclaimed property requirements.
What about automatic payments?
If you have any recurring or automatic payments linked to your Reshop Card, make sure you update those payment details before October 29, 2026.
Transactions will no longer be processed after the card is closed.
